Less than two weeks to go to the Big Day! In case you have started making arrangement for getting to Leez Priory, here are some directions to help:
By car:
- Head to the M11 towards Stanstead Airport.
- Come off at junction 8 and take the A120 towards Colchester.
- Follow the A120 and turn off at the 2nd exit (signposted Felsted). Cross the roundabout (2nd exit) and onto the A130.
- (From Dunmow as well) Follow the A130, passing through villages of Barnston & Ford End.
- Once you leave the village of Ford End, follow the road round and then turn left down the B1417 towards Leez Priory and Felsted.
- Follow the road for just over a mile, crossing the river Chelmer, proceed up the hill and take the first exit on your right about 200 metres after the phone box.
- Leez Priory is located 1 mile down this lane on the left.
- Please take the 2nd drive into Leez Priory, signposted Guest Car Park.
If you are travelling by public transport:
- Take the train to Chelmsford (from London trains frequently run from Liverpool Street or Stratford). Then take a taxi from the station to Leez Priory (approx. 15mins)
- Alternatively take a train to Stanstead airport and take a taxi from the airport (approx. 20 mins).
